Color, Color Everywhere: Working With Acrylics

Saturday May 7th from 1PM to 4:30PM at Wildflower Studios and Gallery at 204 E Beale Street

Materials required for this class: sketch book, drawing pencils, gum eraser, ruler, 8x10 canvas panel, Paint Brushes (preferably at least a few sizes), Acrylic Paint, Palette (which can be a plastic plate), Container for Water. (Paper Towels might also be handy.)

* Note * For this class each student will also need to bring a 22x28 inch sheet of white poster board in addition to the other required supplies.

In this class we will discuss: hue, color value, intensity and saturation; color wheels and color temperature.

We will practice mixing colors and make a color chart.

We will choose a photograph and start a painting that will incorporate all the lessons we’ve learned that can be finished in the class or at home.

Join artist and instructor Rob Bagge in a series of art classes designed to help you improve your artistic expression, this is class One of Four. Each class builds on the preceding one, but each class stands on it's own so students can attend all 4 classes in the series or just one and still benefit. Beginner through advanced students are welcome.
